U.S. lifts chip software curbs on China amid trade truce

The U.S. authorities has rescinded its export restrictions connected chip-design bundle to China, semiconductor bundle companies Synopsys and Cadence announced Thursday.

The U.S. Commerce Department did not instantly respond to a petition for remark from CNBC.
