Derek Chisora's professional boxing career has been going on since mid-February 2007. During that time, the British heavyweight has fought a total of 49 matches, with a record of 36 wins, 13 losses, and 23 knockouts. The popular "DelBoy" is now planning to round off the number to 50 fights and hang up his gloves, but he is looking for a worthy opponent for his last dance.

Dillian Whyte and Joseph Parker have previously been mentioned as potential opponents for his farewell fight. However, the 41-year-old boxer revealed that he had an offer to fight arguably the most talented heavyweight of today, Moses Itauma, but turned it down due to the unsatisfactory financial side.

"They offered me a fight against Moses Itauma in Saudi Arabia. I asked how much, they said, 'Two million,' to which I said, 'No, I'm giving it up,'" Chisora told TalkSPORT.

Why did he refuse the match and what does he think of his rival?

And while Chisora refused to cross the gloves with the young and powerful Itauma, his old rival Dillian Whyte accepted the offer. Itauma and Whyte are scheduled to fight on August 16 in Riyadh. However, Chisora does not believe that "The Body Snatcher" has a chance to win.

"Someone needs to call the police immediately and someone needs to be arrested for attempted murder, whoever arranged that match. It's not a fight for Whyte at this point. We'll have to decide who goes to jail when Dillian is beaten badly," commented the 41-year-old British fighter.

Let us remind you that Moses Itauma fought his last match at the end of May this year, when he defeated Mike Balogun by technical knockout in the second round. This 20-year-old has had 12 professional matches so far and emerged victorious in all of them, with as many as ten knockouts.

Practically all important people from the world boxing scene, from boxers to coaches, believe that Itauma has a bright future and is one of the main candidates to win the world heavyweight title.
